This department stands ready to serve all students with orientation, registration advisement and assistance, transfer of credit, transcripts and graduation questions. Once you decide your major, this office will assign you a faculty advisor who will help you navigate course registration and planning for an on-time graduation. Even if you are still unsure of your major, you’ll receive a general education adviser who will help you sign up for all of your general requirements and review possible choices for your major.

The Center for Testing and Proctoring provides test proctoring for traditional, face-to-face classes, or the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Tests are administered at the Testing Center for students with disabilities who are registered with the Office of Academic and Auxiliary Services. The Office of Learner Support Services provides services to students who may be underprepared to enter college-level math and English or who are at risk for academic failure (including students who are placed on probation). These services include college transition activities, academic success coaching, early interventions, assessment of academic strengths and challenges, and success strategies. The Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) serves SEU students by providing free individual tutoring, group study sessions and seminars covering various topics that promote academic success (e.g., time management skills, study skills, writing styles, etc.). Test preparation workshops leading up to final exams week are also available. Students can learn more about and access these services by calling 863.667.5137 or by emailing ace@seu.edu.
